Dacia announced that new flagship model Duster will go on sale in the UK market next year. On the European market, 2016 Dacia Duster is expected by the end of 2015. The company issued a short statement about the new SUV model at the Geneva Motor Show. For four years, the sales result of this model makes most of the years of its revenue from Renault. Therefore it is not surprising the decision about phase of redesign, in an effort to maintain its success for some time. 2016 Dacia Duster 2 will continue to be produced at a plant in Pitesti, Romania. For now there are no plans to expand the range of models to a new market.
2016 Dacia Duster Redesign
New 2016 Dacia Duster will continue to use as its basis, the platform of the Renault Clio. Decision 2016 Duster to be offered with three rows of seats is considered to be high-risk change. Two additional seats, in the new Duster model will apparently be optional. In particular, will be charged 800 euros. This decision was also influenced by the dimensions of the model. 2016 Dacia Duster will have a length of 4.5 meters, which is nearly 20 cm longer than the current model. Extra payment for additional seats would mean the stronger engine, which will also exist only as an option.
Some sources say that the redesigned 2016 Duster design solutions will take over from Renault Oroch concept. While it is certain that the company strives to modernize the look of the new Duster model, Oroch concept, according to many is not the best solution. Sandero model is much more acceptable decisions, but this is all for now uncertain.
2016 Duster New Engine
Within announcements from Geneva Motor Show, Renault has announced a new engine that will be offered to the UK market. 2016 Dacia Duster will run 1.2 L turbo diesel engine with 123 bhp. The company claims that this engine will provide the same performance as the 2.0 normally aspirated. They will have 250 Nm of torque at 2,000 to 3,000 rpm. 1.2 L engine will be combined with a six-speed transmission. 2016 Duster SUV has the drive to all four wheels. Another engine is currently being mentioned as optional. It would be devoted to models in which there are two additional seats. And this is a 1.6 L dCi 130, which would provide new Duster much greater strength and better off-road capability. Stay tuned, because new information is still coming.
