2016 Opel Mokka – Changes

Just three years ago Opel has offered customers sub-compact crossover SUV Mokka. This small crossover in a short time conquered the market in its class and exceeded all expectations of the company. 2016 Opel Mokka – New Design

Unlike the 2015 model, 2016 Mokka will offer slightly refreshed exterior design. Changes are expected in the front bumper, radiator grille and the front light-group. The current model has already got a new engine, which replaces the old 1.7-liter diesel engine. It is a turbo-diesel 1.6-liter CDTI engine with 136 hp and 320 Nm of torque. It is made of aluminum, which has reduced weight of the vehicle, achieved higher output power and increased fuel economy. With this engine, the car has a top speed of over 190 km/h, and from 0 to 100 km/h, reached in less than 10 seconds. In addition to this engine, Mokka SUV is equipped with a gasoline engine, as well as the version with LPG drive.  Opel Mokka 2016 will extend this offer with new three-cylinder engine.

Significant improvements in 2015 models, are influenced by the numerous awards that the Opel Mokka brought. Many times, he was named the Car of the Year with drive to all four wheels. The vehicle meets all the requirements of strict Euro 6 standards. CO2 emissions are 109 g/km and average fuel consumption is around 4 l/100 km. The low level of CO2 emissions is achieved by installing DPF filter. 2016 Opel Mokka will have a version with AWD and FWD. AWD versions will possess six-speed automatic transmission, while the version with FWD use the manual transmission.
