2016 Toyota Highlander – Redesign

After a minor decline in sales in 2008 and 2009, the Toyota Highlander SUV again takes up its rightful place. Lately, this SUV records constant growth in sales. LE version with FWD, 3.5-liter V6 engine and 6-Speed Automatic Transmission has a price of $ 30.970. Highlander LE AWD with 3.5-liter V6 engine and 6-Speed Automatic Transmission costs $ 32.430.

2016 Toyota Highlander LE Plus, as a standard, has a 3.5-liter V6 DOHC 24-Valve with VVT-i engine. It develops 270 hp at 6200 rpm and 248 lb.-ft. at 4700 rpm. Version with 6-Speed Automatic Transmission, and FWD cost $ 33.190, while the price version with AWD $ 34.650.

2016 Toyota Highlander XLE as the LE Plus versions are available with the same engine, same transmission and a choice between FWD and AWD. The difference is in the wider extent of standard equipment. Price for the FWD version is $ 36.490, while the AWD version costs $ 37.950.

2016 Toyota Highlander Limited has the richest package of equipment. Like LE Plus, and XLE uses a 3.5-liter DOHC V6 engine and 6-speed AT, and offers a choice of FWD and AWD drive system. AWD version costs $ 41.550, a FWD version costs $ 40.090.

2016 Toyota Highlander Hybrid is offered only with Limited equipment package and AWD. Hybrid propulsion system consists of a 3.5-liter V6 Double Overhead Cam (DOHC) 24-Valve with Variable Valve Timing with intelligence (VVT-i), Electric motors (two, front and rear), and Ni-MH Traction battery. The power system is 280 hp, and has EV and ECO modes. The engine is combined with Electronically Controlled Continuously Variable Transmission (ECVT) with sequential shift mode and Electronic On-Demand AWD system with intelligence (AWD-i). The amount that should be set aside for this model is $ 47.750.
