Mitsubishi Motors Corporation has recently introduced three studies, and concept models. They are an indication of a new direction in design and advanced technologies. Also, the concept of these models represent an improvement of off-road capability, safety, driving enjoyment and environmental protection. The improvements and innovations will be used in developing the next generation of SUVs company. Much of the improvement is designed for all-new 2018 Mitsubishi Pajero SUV.
All-new 2018 Mitsubishi Pajero Design and Specs
The new generation of Mitsubishi’s full-size SUV will be based on the aforementioned concepts. These are the GC-PHEV, XR-PHEV and Concept AR. However, the greatest impact on the all-new 2018 Mitsubishi Pajero will have a GC-PHEV concept. Somehow this was expected because the GC in the name of the concept, is the acronym of Grand Cruiser.
GC-PHEV concept was introduced with a plug-in hybrid propulsion system. As such, it presents a vision of the Mitsubishi company about powerful full-size SUV model that is cost-effective and slightly harmful to the environment. All-new 2018 Mitsubishi Pajero will be designed along the lines of the aforementioned concept. That will be a new generation of vehicles vary considerably from previous models.
Plug-in hybrid propulsion system GC-PHEV Concept consists of 3.0-liter V6 engine, enhanced by an electric motor, with an 8-speed automatic transmission. All-new 2018 Mitsubishi Pajero will feature plug-in hybrid propulsion system. However, the production model will get something different hybrid system. It will include a four-cylinder gasoline engine, electric motor and lithium-ion batteries with high capacity. The vehicle will possess the possibility of movement on just the electric drive. However, this will only be possible at low speeds of the vehicle. As GC-PHEV concept, the new Pajero (Montero or Shogun) will be equipped with Super All Wheel Control (S-AWC) system and new security systems.
Many are skeptical because of the announcement of a new model with a hybrid propulsion system and futuristic design. It is thought that it will lose much of their performance and off-road capability, and that will become fangled crossover SUV. Mitsubishi Motors Corporation has announced that All-new 2018 Mitsubishi Pajero, continues to be ‘true 4×4 off-road vehicle’ and ‘authentic off-roader’.
